El Museo Nacional de Antropología en la Ciudad de México y Google Arts & Culture lanzaron “El Descenso de la Serpiente”, un videojuego gratuito, de tipo educativo, que permite a los usuarios conocer los misterios de la antigua Mesoamérica.
El juego, completamente en español, es posible jugarlo con solo un navegador y tiene como objetivo promover la cultura ancestral del pueblo mexicano y por ello incluye información sobre campos que van desde la agricultura y mitología azteca hasta la arquitectura.
La trama de la aventura pone al jugador en la misión de recuperar unos objetos robados de un museo por una extraña figura mitológica, por lo que debe viajar en el tiempo para salvar al mundo de una gran inundación.
Desde un punto de vista más técnico se trata de un juego de dos dimensiones, top down, del género aventura, que permite ejecutarse con dos niveles de dificultad, uno más casual para conocer la historia y otro más exigente para quienes deseen probar sus habilidades.
